SUBJECT: Culvert Reconstruction - Pitt River Road

Please be advised that the Dyking Commission has requested the City replace a steel
culvert and flap gate located along the PoCo Trail, northwest of Pitt River Road. The
existing 1500mm diarneter culvert is in poor condition exhibiting imminent failure. We
have prepared an estimate for the removal and replacement of approximately 12 meters of
i525mm galvanized culvert and cast iron flapback fiap gate in the amount of $22,406.
Would you kindly advise the Public Works Committee and request adequate funding to
undertake this project.
