Storm Sewer Requirements - Developments Along Broadway The Public Works Committee considered a memorandum from the Députy City Engineer dated November 18, 1991 vegarding strom sewer requirements for developments along Broadway. | It was recommended that all new developments along the west side of Broadway between Kingsway and Mary Hill Bypass be required under Bylaw No. 2241 to install a concrete box storm sewer along the west side of Broadway as part of the engineering requirements. It was noted that the new Development Cost Charges for this area for storm drainage works will probably be increased from $8,500 per hectare to $15,000 to $18,000 per hectare. . | The Committee requested that additional information be submitted from the Engineering Department to the next Public Works Committee meeting regarding the size and the cost gy lof the proposed storm sewer system, and also an estimate of the cost of off-site services y that new developments in this area would be required to pay.
