Crescent — Landscaped Island.

That a decision regarding the upgrade or maintenance work on the
landscaped island at Clematis Crescent be deferred until the Council meeting
of August 12th, 1991, to obtain further information.

From the Parks and Recreation Director, July 17th, 1991 regarding Netting
~ Thompson Park and McLean Park.

Moved by Alderman Thompson:
seconded by Alderman Gordon:

That additional netting be erected at the main diamond at McLean Park
at the Pony diamond at Thompson Park at an estimated cost of $10,200.00.

That the monies for this project be taken from Park D.C.C. interest.

From the Acting City Clerk, July 16th, 1991 regarding Board of Variance
Bylaw, 1982, No. 1919. .

That the Clerk's Office be instructed to amend the Board of Variance
Bylaw, 1982, No. 1919, by making the following changes.

1. Section 2(a), Schedule "A" (Notice of Appeal) be repealed and Schedule "A"
attached to this memorandum be substituted.

Section 2(b) be amended by deleting the words “within seven days following
the day of-the decision or order being appealed”. | |

Section 2(c) be amended by, deleting the words “within seven days of the
receipt of the document”. | . . 7 rs

That Section 5 of the Bylaw be repealed.
