The purpose being to bring forth a report outlining terms of reference and a funding formula for a feasibility study on a regional cultural centre. b) That the report be brought back to Council on or before April 29th, 1985. | { | | | | Backqround & Comments: On February 20th, 1985, a meeting was held at Hyde Creek Centre with representatives from the District of Coquitlam, Port Moody, Fine Arts Council Building Committee and the Port Coquitlam Parks & Recreation Committee. Representatives from Belcarra and Electoral Area 'B' were also invited but they were unable to attend. The purpose of the meeting was to look at the question of a regional cultural centre and how to get the various political bodies to come together. It was agreed that the first step would be to have a joint resolution sub- mitted to all councils for approval.
