Ve are advised by Alderman P.F. Ranger that ac the regular Council meeting to be

held on December llth, 1972 he proposes to make the following resolution:
"That the City Clerk's office be instructed to prepare the necessary By-law for

‘presentation to the Council in order that a 15¢ a cubic yard charge may be imposed on all

pxavel excavated within the City."

We are presently obtaining a copy of the District of Cequitlam’s By-law in this

¥Ggard and it is our understanding that Akernan Ranger wishes the City's By-law to follow

the wording in the District of Coquitiam's By-law that was recently upheld by the British

Celunbia Court of. Appeal.
