Born in Braddock, Sask. on Nov: ember 28, 1926 the deceased came to Terrace in 1948. She lived be- ‘tween Terrace and Prince Rupert until 1958 when she made Terrace her permanent home. She was married to ‘Frederick William Chastney on June 30, 1950, The late Mrs. Chastney was an active members of Terrace Lapid- ary club; a war veteran, having been an athletic instructor with the Women's Army Corp in Re- gina, Sask. and a member: of. the Royal Canadian Legion No. 13 Ladies Auxiliary. The deceased is survived by her thusband, Fred; three step-daugh- ters, Mrs. A. (Commie Ungariun of Manning, Alta.; Mrs, H. (Cynthia) Boerm, of Seattle, Washington; and Mrs. R. ((Carol) Pederson of Prince Rupért; a foster son Tom- my and an unele and aunt, Mr. and Mrs, Lagler of Swift Current, Sask., who raised her from child- hood. Funeral services are being held this afternoon, November 16, from Evangelical Free Church with the Reverend H. J.
