Kirk City Administrator Andrew de Boer Project Engineer September 21, 1992 That the City approve use of the attached Restrictive Covenant for the Beck Environmental Soil Treatrnent facility on 1515 Kingsway. Attached is a draft of the Restrictive Covenant between Coast Steel Fabricators Lid., the property owner of 1515 Kingsway and the City. Coast Steel Fabricators Ltd. is a sister company of Beck Drilling and Environmental Services Inc. (Beck). Some of the highlights of the covenant are as follows: - The land shall not be used for the storage or treatment of special waste. - The size of the facility is limited to 3000 m2. This maximum size can be increase by a resolution of Council. - Beck Environmental shall pay an annual rent charge to the City in leu of property taxes. Presently under the Municipal Act, Beck, as an environmental business, is exempt from property tax. The covenant will be submitted to the Land Titles Office for registration, after its approval by Council. Andrew de Boer Project Engineer
