iv. removal of utility pole and provision of alternate service to Lot 13, Rlk. 1, D.n. 379, Grp. 1, Plan 1213, N.W.D. Cap off and remove existing gas main on the lot to be purchased, The works shall be constructed to the standards required by the subdivision bylaw of the city. ‘AS Security for the due and proper construction of all the works in this Contract contained and the Development contemplated, the purchaser Shall deposit with the city an irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of $21,1%N.aAN in the form attached as Appendix "gr", The Purchaser agrees that if the Works are not. completed pursuant to paragraph 6.5 (a) hereof, | a the. City may complete the Works, at the cost of © the purchaser, and for that purpose may draw down upon the Letter of Credit the full amount Of such Letter of credit and should there be insufficient monies contained in the Letter oF Credit the Purchaser Shall pay the belance of ‘such insufficiency forthwith upon invoice therefor or should the Purchaser complete the Works or should the completion of the Works cost ‘less than the amount of the Letter of Credit the Letter of Credit or such Part thereof shall be returned by the City to the Purchaser.
