Alderman Gates expressed concern regarding the Shaughnessy Street bus stops at Lions Park Way and Mayor Laking asked that further study be carried out on this bus route also. BYLAWS: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That By-law No. 1830 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. Carried. The City Clerk advised the developer of the proposed townhouse development at the south west corner of Pitt River Road and Shaughnessy Street has changed his plans with respect to the development proposed and that it would be necessary to rescind the second and third readings of Bylaw No. 1848, amend the Bylaw and give Bylaw No. 1848 second reading as amended. Alderman Mabbett stated in his opinion this proposed development should go back to the beginning and have a Public Information Meeting. Alderman Muldoon requested that the recommendations be dealt with separately. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Muldoon: That the second and third readings of Bylaw No. 1848 be rescinded, Carried. Moved by Aldermun Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That Bylaw No. 1848 be amended by striking out Section l(c) thereof and substituting the following: "1(c) Parcel "A" (Bylaw Plan 62823), District Lot 289, Group One, Plan 2396, New Westminster District;" THAT Bylaw No. 1848, as amended, be read a second time; AND THAT a second Public Hearing on Bylaw No. 1848 be held at 7:30 p-m. on Monday, November 23rd, 1981. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution Alderman Traboulay suggested that Bylaw No. 1848 go to Public Information Meeting prior to Public Hearing.
