Delta Council has previously made a submission to a hearing
held in connection with tha proposed fine, and has now been advised
that no further hearings are contemplated and that construction of
the tine witli now proceed. Delta Counci! have requested that further
hearings be held on the subject, and in this regard the support of '
each Municipality within the Lower Mainland Is belng requested.

Should your Council wish to support the proposal for
further hearings we would respectfully request they so advise the
Minister of Lands, Forests, and Water Resources,
