PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE | :

The Terrace & district Chamber of Commerce dates back to September, 1927 the official name was
the Terrace and District Board of Trade. Back then, only males over the age of 21 were eligible to
join and they formed the board who would represent the business community. Today, the
Chamber of Commerce with its group of volunteer directors and its strong group of members,
continue to make Terrace a viable city to do business i in.

We invite everyone to visit our 11th Annual TRADE SHOW. This year we ¢ have » another exciting

full-house of exhibitors ranging from thé latest automobiles to sumptuous hot tubs and delicious

food. Expect something “unusual”. Three of our exhibitors have partnered (a six booth block )

) to bring you something very special. Tony Demelo, of Sight and Sound productions, has once

demonstrations to listening to the sounds of talented musicians/bands from the region,

Skeena Valley Rotary Club is once again presenting an amazing door prize of a trip for two to Europe, courtesy of Air Transat

Holidays, Uniglobe Courtesy Travel and HawkAir. Entry into the trade show, $2 per person and $5 per family, gives you a
chance at this fabulous trip and the proceeds go back into our community. Remember, you must be over 18 to win.

The City of Terrace is celebrating their 75th birthday this year and in conjunction with that our theme is “Celebrating Our
History”. Remember, knowing our history determines what our future will be. Be sure to drop in and check out all the
wonderful exhibits and view first hand what your community has to offer.
