While all this volleyball action was going on, 4 series of exhibition seccer games featuring leams from Caledonia, Houston, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, Smithers and Hazelton was being held at Skeena Secondary Schuul, The host Caledonia team defeated Houston 3-0, but then were - shut out 1-0 themselves by Kitimat's Mount Elizabeth Secondary Schoul team. The squads-from Prince Rupert and Hazelton appeared tobe" the class of the field. Prince’ Rupert came up with a pair uf easy victories, downing Smithers 7-0, then clabbering Houston 9-0. Hazelton also appeared strong, vuver- powering Kitimat 5-0, and triurmphing uver Smithers by the same 5-0 score.
