Rasky became involved with the filming of the works of the artist Mare Chagail. Chagall’s window on an Old Testament theme (at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem) was a visual highlight of that drama- documentary, which won_ the ACTRA Award as “best TV program in 1975.” In an attempt to solicit Chagall's active cooperation for a film on the artist's life and work, Rasky showed Next Year in Jerusalem to Chagall at his home in St. Paul de Vence, near Nice on the French Riviera. “We projected it on his living room wall,” says Rasky, ‘‘and waited for the . reaction.” the brink of a precipice appear to tumble over the e exander Mackenzie, an ae a the sort ee ‘a ompany, ins his second attempt to find the Pacific in 1792 motivated by a desire to extend the fur trade but also by an ex- plorer’s zeal to map the ‘unknown.
