BYLAW NO, 2809 A Bylaw to provide for the exemption from taxation for the calendar year 1994 of certain real property heid by the Port Coquitlam Area Women’s Centre fcr charitable and philanthropic purposes. Whereas the Port Coquitlam Area Women’s Centre occupy certain property owned by the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and use that property for charitable and philanthropic purposes; And whereas it is desired to exempt the said property from taxation for the calendar year 1994; Now therefore the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Women’s Centre Leased Property Exemption from Taxation Bylaw, 1993, No. 2809". 2. That parcel of real property, together with the improvements situated thereon, known as Lots 7 and 8, Block "B", District Lot 289, Group 1, Plan 1954, EXCEPT parts on plan with Bylaw filed 6287, New Westminster District, being 2420 Mary Hill Road, is hereby declared to be exempt from taxation for the calendar year 1993 to the extent provided in Section 400 of the Municipal Act.
