RECOMMENDATION: That City Council advise the Board of ‘the Greater
Vancouver Regional District, that this application is
not supported for the following reasons:
~ The area serves as a low density rural

residential buffer for near by farms to

the east from urban density. housing to the

west.

This application is considered premature as there
is sufficient land with utility services available
for building outside the Agricultural Land Reserve.

BACKGROUND:

This application was initially submitted to the City of Port Coquitlam,
December 11, 1980, but was withdrawn.
