A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on May 25th, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, E.W. Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, L.M. Traboulay and M.R. Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were Acting-Chief Administrative Officer R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Deputy Fire Chief J.N. Boileau, Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: Hearing: His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking advised the meeting the following geo No. “OQ proposed By-laws to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: By-law No. 1840: To rezone Remainder of East 345' of Lot A, Northwest Quarter Section 7, Township 40, Plan 257, New Westminster District, from RS-2 to RS-1. This property is located at 1046 Victoria Drive and following completion of the rezoning procedures it is expected that a subdivision of the property will occur to create lots for 12 single family dwellings. No one was present to comment on the proposed rezoning. By-law No. 1841: No. 1841 = 3310 Coast Meridian CS-1 to C-2 To rezone Lot 77, North West Quarter of Section 6, Township 40, Plan 33655, New Westminster District, from CS-1 to C-2. This property is located at 3310 Coast Meridian Road and it is expected that a two-storey commercial/office building containing 9,200 sq. ft. of rental space will be constructed on the property following completion of the rezoning procedures.
