event was in conjunction with the Kinsmen July lst Celebrations and it was a
slightly different set of circumstances.

3. We have authority to approve 18 days of Beer Gardens within a year in
the City and to date we have approved 11. Janna informs me that there are two
groups that have expressed intent to apply for Beer Gardens for next year. I¢£
this present application is approved, therefore, the priorities for next years
applications will be altered as I understand from their letter that the Soccer
people wish to make this an annual event.

Perhaps you would have the Opportunity to review this with the Committee
and make a reconmendation to Council.
