2 ANNUAL UBCM MEMBERSHIP DUES

Please be advised that under Section 16 of the UBCM By~laws, the Executive

hag determined that annual membership dues for 1979 will be assessed using

the following formula and 1976 Census data, as adjusted and confirmed by the
Minister of Municipal Affairs and reported in "Statistics Relating to Municipal
and Regional Governments in B.C, — June 1978",

for the first 5,000 population 18.6¢ per capita
for the next 10,000 135.5¢ per capita -
for the next 15,000 8.5¢ per capita

for all population in excess of
30,000 1.75¢ per capita

minimum mebership dues “170.00

The forme remains the same as in 1978 and gross revemes expected by the
UBCIZ in 1979 will be virtually unchanged from last year,

A statement based on the above formula is attached which we trust will be

acceptable.
