Dear Counctt:

The Councli of The Corporation of Delta, at a meeting held
December 1, 1975, expressed serlous concern over the large percentage
incrsases within the Greater Vancouver Regional District Provisicnal

Budget.

tn light of financial restraints imposed by our sentor governments
and their guidelines to remain within a ten percent increase, the high
percentage Increases within the Regional District's Provisional Budget
do not appear realistic. I+ is not reasonable to expect the increase
proposed by the Greater Vancouver Regional District toe be borne by
" wage earners restricted to ten percent guidelines.

As a member municipality of the Greater Vancouver Regional District
Delta's Council! calls upen you as an elected body to request that the
Directors of the Regional District endeavour to produce a Budget that

is within a ten percent increase over the 1975 Budget.
