Mrs. Doll would nurse patients in their home, where many of Terrace’s young people were born. Harvey had bought some prop- erly on Park Ave. and built a house there. In 1946, the Dolls decided to rent their house and moved to Prince Rupert because of work there. Harvey was employed as a shipwright at the shipyards during WWI. Two of their sons — Stanicy and Clarence — went overscas with the army, After the war was over, ibe Dolls returned back to Terrace to live. Harvey did carpentry work until he retired and Mrs. Doll again would nurse paticnts in their home. ’ Their house was always full with théie own 11 children — plus the various roomers and boarders they took in. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Doll bought a home on Scott Ave and lived there for some time. Mrs. Doll passed away in 1977 and then on July 22, 1987, Har- vey made his move up to Ter- raceview Lodge to live. Harvey’s children still living are sons Stan and Gordon in Ter- race, daughters Edith, Irene and Doi! in Vancouver, daughter Vir- ginia in Quesnel, Daughter Maryrie in Victoria. A very happy 98th birthday for Harvey from all his many friends, kakke A very special birthday greeting goes out this week to Kay Graf in the Kitimat Hospital.
