Two enterprising young men

through here last Wednesday on
the last leg of their several-
thousand mile jaunt.

Roberto Schmidlin and Ariel
Betancourt left Concepcion on
October 6, 1967, with their 1929
Dodge and $2.00 to-their, name; -
Originally there were. four
persons on the trip, but one was‘
killed.
California, and the other went
back to Chile shortly thereafter..

“We left Chile to see the

world,..and here we are...",

They remarked on a T.V. -

They had a good iife in Chile,
but have found that it is far
more comfortable here than
there.
