PARKING IN CUL-DE-SAC’S - AMENDMENT TO THE TRAFFIC
REGULATION BYLAW #1117
(Pablic Works/Traffic Committee Mecting of July 20, 1993)

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Clerk be directed to amend Division 3 of the Traffic Regulation Bylaw #1117 to
include the following parking regulation:

“No person to stand, step or park a vehicle other than parallel with the outside curb
of any cul-de-sac”.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

The Public Works/Traffic Committee considered the attached memorandum dated July 8, 1993
from Chief License Inspector and Bylaw Enforcement Officer to the City Clerk and supports the
recommendation to amend the Traffic Regulation Bylaw #1117 to restrict vehicle parking to
parallel parking with the outside curb of any cul-de-sac.
