The model has operated for several years in the City and it is now our intention to calibrate the theoratical results with actual field tests and then make any adjustments to the model that become necessary. The water system analysis model that the City currently uses is a 1988 version (with a 199] update) of the model developed by Al Fowler at U.B.C. The existing data used in the model has been kept tunely and is used on a daily basis. | The City currently has two water pumping stations. The Citadel heights pumping station which was constructed and commissioned in 1989 and the Penny Place Booster Purnp Station which is being replaced in 1991/92. SCOPE OF THE WORK: The work program will incorporate the following: 1. Review the current water model and understand fully the current status. 2. Review all water system as-built infonnation for the City network and identify any additional information necessary to complete subsequent parts of this project. 3. Carry out general field surveys if necessary to supplement available plans supplied by the City. Confirm the adequacy and application of the water model. In conjunction with the City, make any modifications or updates needed as’ it pertains to the current network. Some conversion to metric may be required.
