Pedestrian Protective Devices for Central and Assumption Schocls.

That the expenditure of approximately $20,000 for the
installation of overhead crosswalk warning devices and association
signs/markings at the following locations be approved:

a. crosswalk on Shaughnessy at Central Avenue
b. crosswalk on Shaughnessy at Fraser Avenue

That the above works be funded from the 1988 Unallocated Public
Works Capital Budget.

From the City Engineer, November 9th, 1988 regarding Request for
Stop Sign.

That the Traffic Regulations Bylaw be amended to include the
placement of stop signs at the following locations:

a. Northeast corner of Newberry Street at Lynwood Avenue.
b. Northeast corner of Ambleside Close at Alderwood Avenue.

From the Director of Community Planning, November 8th, 1988
regarding Planning Grant for 1989.

That City Council authorize the Planning Department to apply to
the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to carry over the grant application
made in 1988. this application is to start work that was intended to be
done last year, but was cancelled due to extra information requirements
that could not be met.

9th, 1988 regarding Encroachment Agreement at 2552 Shaughnessy Street.

That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to endorse an.

encroachment Agreement for Parcel A, plan 24312 the civic address of 2552
Shaughnessy Street being the Europe Bakery.
