A By-law to authorize the demolition of buildings, structures, or AUG 27 1979
things, that are tn the opinion of Council, in an uneafe condition.
WHEREAS Huntington Rubber Mills of Canada Limited has permitted,
allowed, maintained, or caused to be permitted, allowed or maintained
upon the parcel of land hereinafter described, buildings, structures or
things which are in the opinion of Council, in an unsafe condition;

AND WHEREAS the parcel of land upon which the said buildings,

structures or things were erected is in the City of Port Coquitlam, in
the County of Westminster, in the Province of British Columbia, and is
more particularly known and described as Lot 90 of District Lot 379,
Group 1, Plan 49890, New Westminster District;
AND WHEREAS title to the said parcel of land is in the name of:-~
* HUNTINGTON RUBBER MILLS OF CANADA LIMITED
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the City of Port Coquitlam,
in open neeting assembled, enacts as follows:-
2. The buildings, structures, or things located upon that parcel of
Jand known and described as Lot 90 of District Lot 379, Grotp i, Plan
* 49890, New Westminster District, are, in the opinion of Council, in an
unsafe condition, and shall be demolished and removed from the said
parcel of land by Huntington Rubber Mills of Canada Limited within that
period of time specified in Section 3 of this By-law, and such demolition
and removal is hereby authorized.
2. In default of such demolition and removal by the said Huntington
_ Rubber Mills ef Canada Limited within that period of time specified in
Section 3 hereof, the Senior Building Inspector, together with workmen
employed by the City of Pore Coquitlam is hereby authorized to enter
upon that parcel of land known and described as Lot 96 of District Lot
379, Group 1, Plan 49890, New Westminster District, and to demolish the
buildings, Structures, or things erected thereon, and such demolinion
shall be done ot the expense of the said Huntington Rubber Milis of

Canada Limited, and the charges for so'doing, if unpaid by the owners on

the Thirty-first day of December, shall be added te and forn part of the
