Further to our recent negotiations, this will confirm that subject to
contract the Provincial Government is prepared to enter into a 2 year lease-
hold agreement affecting the above-captioned property. As agreed, terms and
conditions with respect to the proposed lease are to be similar to those
contained in the previous agreement, except for an increase in the rental
rate on a gross basis from $7.85 per sq. ft. to $8.15 per sa. ft. per annum.

“Subject to your Council's approval to the above, I should be grateful
if you would return the attached copy letter to this office, duly signed,
in order that this matter may be speedily completed.
