That the City Clerk be instructed to contact the British Columbia

Telephone Company and the B.C. Hydro & Power Authority advising of the

strong objections of this Council to the 10¢ surcharge for payment of
bills for those utilities at their payment agencies in the City of Port

Coquitlam. Carried.

That pursuant to Section 47A of the "Municipal Act" the following
Council members shall sit as a Court of Revision for the 1975 List of
Electors to be used at the annual municipal election in the month of

November:

Mayor J.M. Campbell
Alderman G.R. Laking
Alderman E.W. Mabbett

AND THAT the first sitting of the Court of Revision shall be held

at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October Ist, 1975, in the Council Chambers,

Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C.

BY-LAWS:

The City Administrator advised that while approval has been received
from the Provincial Department of Highways for the original By-laws,
approval from the Department of Highways has not yet been received with
respect to minor changes to the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By~law,
1969, No. 918, Amendment By-law, 1974, No. 1343" and the "Land Use
Contract No. 7 Authorization By-law, 1974, No. 1346". It is the opinion
of the City Solicitor that it would be in order to now give further
consideration to the said By-laws provided the applicant, Oceashores
Developments Ltd., are aware that validity may be questioned. Mr.

W.R. Brownlee, architect for the project, stated that he was aware of
the situation and wished the Council to proceed.
