1986 1.1 21 CORPORATION OF PARKS & THL'ITY OF POR'1 COQUI TLAM RECREATION CONNITTEE meeting of the Recreation Committee was held in the Council Chambers Parks on Wednesday, November 5th, 1986, at 3: 45 p.m. In attendance were Alderman George Laki .ing an d Al derman Nike A & Also in attendance were K. Simon indicated that the various issues around the washrooms and the kitchen had been resolved and that the e Wil i son entre .re Expansion was extremely pleased with the design . It was agreed that before any recommendation was made, it was necessary to get the insurance rates from our insurance people. /3. NOV 0- 1986 Item No,5 NcLean Park Chanaerooms Bram presented the plans for the proposed renovations at NcLean Park. The plans have been approved by the Building Department and the Health In order to fully complete the project we need an additional $ 2,500 Department. Recommendation: That we approve an additional 62,500 for the changerooms and that this money be taken from the Parks reserve fund. CARRIED Item No. 6 PeeWe~e Bantam House Tournament The attached letter was discussed by the Committee. Recommendation: That the PoCo Ninor Hockey Association be permitted to host their annual tournament on December 27th to 30th, 1986, at 50% of their regular ice rental rates.
