Neil Mclsaac was that and more in men’s singles action at this year's Terrace Dart Open. Having had to settle for the runner-up spot a couple of hours eatlier in men’s doubles, Melsaac’s arrows relentlessly found their mark this time. - Acruel demolition of Terrace’s Pat Campbell in the semi-final in- cluded streaking from 501 to dou- ble ont in just nine darts. And his darts continued to sing in the final as he took out fellow Kitimatian Paul Dejong, With the out-of-town men’s ’ challenge again proving too much for the locals, it was once more left to the ladies to ensure at least one title stayed in Terrace. - Annette Hiren and Carla ' Boreham did the good deed to salvage Terrace’s pride in ladies doubles, knocking off Davene Bater and Betly Schiemann for top spot. The victory was compensation for both, Hiren having lost out in singles semi-final action “and Boreham, partnered by husband Bill, having gonc the same route in Friday night’s opening ‘mixed doubles. Anita Ratcliffe and Joan .Magrum of Terrace also made the ~ doubles semis, And in teams second spot went ‘to the old firm of Bill Robinson, Bob Bennett, Bill Borcham and Campbell while Rool, Juergen Schiemann, Dejong and Paul Payne settled for third. Robinson also scored the men’s high ‘out for the weekend with a 150 while Bonnie Dinard’s 99 finish was tops among the ladics.
