14 Terrace Review — Wednesday, October 8, 1986 New store opens TERRACE — Recently a new collector’s store opened its doors,to the public in Terrace. by Philip Musselman © **Collectors Comics and Coins’’ relocated to Terrace from Smithers, where it had been located for about a year and.a half. Ray Sunderland, ‘owner and operator of the business, realized that a good deal of the business he was getting in Smithers was actually from the Terrace area. On Friday, Sept. 19 Sunderland first opened his doors at his location on the corner of Lakelse and Kalum and, found that there was generally a good reaction to the new business. “This location should be good for the winter,’’ Sunderland ex- plained, ‘‘but I will have Ray Sunderland, owner/proprieior of ‘Collectors Comics and Coins displays only a small part of his collectors goods. The store has just moved to Terrace from Smithers. Skeena Cellulose’s donations will be placed in the College Endow-, ment Fund and the in- terest earned on it each year will be used to aid deserving students with the cost of their educa- tion, College Registrar, Brian Loptson said, “*Skeena Cellulose’s con- tribution represents our largest annual corporate donation to the Endow- ment Fund, and it gives this year’s campaign a real boost. We are ap- proaching the deadline for our 1986 matching grant challenge with the Loptson also said that to look for-a larger place | later on because my sup- ply of items will keep § growing.” Sunderland: began his. § interest in comics about | a year and a half ago, | but as far as coins go he has been collecting for as long as he can remem- | ber.
