Larry and Jolanda Munro’s ‘young Alaskan ‘Malamute. _ who was entered in the specials class as he is a champion ‘was shown five of the seven days and performed very well as did Bridget Rutherford’s young German Shepherd male-- - . ‘“Skyraiders’s Signal” although he also was shown | ~ sparingly. The malamute Canadian Champion “Chabek’s Kwikasair” and the aforementioned Shepherd only lack maturity and then we can expect some very good things © from them in the show ring. Mrs. Lynn Tubbs Dachsie -“Vailona Tsimshian Firecracker" was pulled’ from the _ Circuit due to a medical problem, which althoughkept him ~ from being shown should not burt himat ail in the future. Our member from Prince Rupert, Carol Stegavig had her Great. Danes entered and very handily finished. the ~ championship on her male “Lincoln's Captain Morgan” - and had her champion female “Lincoln's Haleakala” entered for specials . only. extended to:Joe Huber and his black sherpherd female “Tanya V. Mazeru’” who was only entered three days in ' Prince George and managed to get another leg towards her CDX. Tanya ia a very young dog and a very steady little . worker who when she does qualify is usually a contender for * top score and we can expect to hear gbod things abgit her in the futare. She in trained by her owner and handled in the Ying by Joe himself and much of his training is done at home sohe certainly deserves a great deal of credit. ~ ; . . Thisis all for now from the show scene except to add that I was one of the people who attended all seven days of the: circuit, and 1 fell thatif.the quality of the dogs is what | saw. . in the show rings those seven days then the breeders’ of quality registered show dogs in this town are doing just as well as breeders elsewhere. As for the obedience ring we are more than holding our own.
