sky show conducted in French with the aid of B.C.P.F. as translators.

Night at RidgeView slementary (Library) March 12th, 7:30 p.m.

- Richmond Parents for French will be holding a meeting on March 12th at
S p.m. in the Kinsman Pavillion, Richmond Nature Park. For further in-

~ Burnaby Parents for French are enjoyably involved in increasing child-
rens exposure to French outside the classroom. through puppet show present~
ations at the local library. They would like to increase their collection
of French puppet scripts (with an eye to producing a baek in the near
future). If any other groups have translated scripts into French or heave

- that the National Film Board is producing a film on French Immersion
which we will be able to use as an eudio-visual. means of acquainting new
parents with immersion programs.It is a good time for parent groups across
Canada to write to the National Film Board to ask for more films for
children in French and for these films to be more readily available. The
selection for the Kindergarten to grade three age group is rather poor
from the Vancouver outlet and pearant interest at this time Might prove
