Re: May Day Teen Dance - Discotheque Kesutation By-law 1978, No. 1626

Dear Sirs,

The May Day Committee is considering to allow the Poco Cabana Disco
to put on the May Day Teen Dance this year, The owner, Mr. Fred Harder,
would be responsible for arranging and supervision of the dance. It
would be held on Saturday, May 26 from 7 p.m. until 12 midnight.
Admission would be reduced to $2.00 from the usual $3.50 and it would

be open to ages 13 and 18,

Since under Discotheque By~law 1978, No. 1626 it is not permitted
to hold a public dance when both age groups - 13 and 14 years of age
and 15, 16, 17 and 18 years of age - are attending at the same time, we
request that Section 4(c) of the above by-law be waived for this occasion.
