TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATIONS (Public Works Committee Meeting of April 20, 1994) That Council award the consulting engineering design and project supervision work for three traffic signal installations at Coast Meridian/Riverwood, Prairie/Toronto and Wilson/Mary Hill based on the tendered cost of $10,442.67 (including GST). That Council allocate $6,961.08 from the 1994 Public Works Capital fund and $3,481.69 from the Roads DCC fund for this purpose. It is proposed to construct three new traffic signal installations in 1994 at Coast Meridian/Riverwood, Prairie/Toronto and Wilson/Mary Hill Road as shown on the attached an 1, : In order to construct these project in 1994 the engineering design for these project should be started as soon as possible. The City invited pre sals from consulting engineering firms for this work as described in the attached memo from «ne Supervisor of Design and ‘Technical Services dated April 16, 1994. The lowest tender is from Shaflik Engineering at an estimated cost of $10,442.67 (including GST). Shaflik Engineering has designed several of the existing traffic signals in Port Coquitlam and the work has been completed satisfactorily. It is recormmended that Council award the engineering design and construction supervision work for these three traffic signal installations to Shaflik Engineering Ltd at a cost of $10,442.67 (including GST).
