From the City Engineer, October 25th, 1990 regarding the Award of

Tender-Pitt River Road Pump Station Discharge Main.

Seconded by Alderman Farnworth:

That Subject to obtaining a three meter wide easement along the west side

of Central Elementary Schooi:

1)

That the contract for the installation of the Pitt River Road Pump Station
Discharge Main be awarded to J. Cote & Son Ltd. based on the tendered
price of $135, 997.10;

That Civic Consultants Ltd. be retained to complete the field inspection,
contract administration, and as-built drawings for this project based on
an estimated cost of $29, 680.00; and

That $130, 667.00 be allocated from the Sewer Capital Reserve for this
purpose.

Permit Application-1589 Kebet Way.

That Council approved the following:

A resolution authorizing the Planning Department to draft Development
Permit 47/90; and

A resolution authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Development
Permit subject to:

ae Satisfaction of Engineering requirements;
b. The applicant considering the comments received from the R.C.M.P.;

The applicant contacting B.C. Hydro to respond to the concerns
expressed by the Building Department;

Submission of Landscaping specifications and securities to the
satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation Department.
