The form of development and Public improvements being
Proposed along the Port Coquitiam border are similar to what is
being proposed by the City. Policy H.1.1. of the Coquitiam
Plan proposes a ftarm designation north of Laurier Avenue.
Policy 1.2. of the Coquitlam Plan recommends that flood
protection and drainage improvemenrs be Installed, the
direction Is the same as what is being considered as a
requirement for Zocaito by the City. .

Tha only point of possible contention In the Plan is the
designation of the Lincoln Avenue as an arterial route. The
City of Port Coquitiam has not designated the west end of
Lincoln by Coquittam River as an arterial because of fts
proximity te two schools. :
