As our sub-division proposal includes the proposed closure of Suffolk Avenue, which we intend to acquire from the city on the basis of fair market value. a We were informed by the City Clerk that the proposal in question should have the consent from the next door neighbour as well, We approached Mr. L. Watt, who resides at 2959 Coast Meridian. He informed me he is totally opposed to the development of town houses and has a total backing of the neighbourhood who are very anxious to see the property developed but only to residential homes, and not to town houses. Either of the proposals are totally acceptable to us but we are not prepared to confront with any one. In lieu of the above we are now withdrawing our first proposal and ask the permission to develop into eight single family homes. For councils information, we have already retained Mr, Sinclair of Dover Engineering to work on our behalf for the project. Besides getting the re-zoning we have to work with B.C. Hydro for the removal of pole which is sitting right in the middle of the city property which will consume quite a bit of time to resolve. Looking at the above, we shall be too glad if this can be resolved so that we can proceed with the development. Yours truly, Norte: Mr. Gan deshe wi if be Jay N.
