Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That as recommended in a report from the Land Sale Committee, January 17th, 1975, the necessary procedures be undertaken to abandon two small pieces of City property located on Eastern Drive just West of Pitt River Road, said property having a total area of approximately 4,800 square feet; AND THAT the property be offered for sale in the manner prescribed in the Municipal Act to the owner of the immediately adjacent land presently under development for the sum of $2.00 per square foot and incorporated with the said adjacent land. NEW BUSINESS: Land Purchase- The City Clerk referred to a memorandum from the City Administrator, 3215 Lancaster St. January 17th, 1975, advising that in accordance with the Council's request, he had negotiated with the owner to purchase property located at 3215 Lancaster Street for park purposes, and that the owner had agreed to the price of $70,000.00 therefor.
