I hava received many complaints from citizens ‘thyoughout Port Coquitlaa with regard to cars speeding, After reviewing the monthly radar reports from February /71 to tha present I am of ‘the opinion that. radar survailance has been at the bottom of the priority list of the R.C.H.P. The result de that there has been a@ build up of speeding in our community. ; To alleviate this problem I would recommend that this comuittes ask Council] to endorse a policy of enforcement so that a positive tone for motorists attitudes nay be established. , I would also request that Hr. Criggle be instructed to give enforcement of parking regulation a higher priority. Motorists are going to have to be educated te "use the City and customer parking lots throughout the downtown area. It is apparent that street parking ie’ being misused and the problem will become worse as new Gevelopmente are completed. I would suggest a daily routine of checking and marking parked cars. ° * .
