Day one features com- munity nutritionist Flo Sheppard, who will speak on the relationship be- tween the media and body image, public health nurse Sonja Comerford, who will speak on smoking. Tai Chi instructor Peter Dickson is up next, fol- lowed by nurse Shirley Haha on what's best for babies, and nurse Mary Ann Dvorak will talk about oncology, Local physician Dr. Lawler will address the diabetes epidemic and ex- plore diabetes’ prevention, while dentist Dr. Burtch will speak on a coronary health improvement pro-*> - ject. Massage therapist Roger Carling-Kelly will discuss stress management and colonic irrigation. Pharmacist Eric Duran- do will explain what you should know about bone health and osteoporosis, followed by lab technician Ingrun Reinsbakken on what the laboratory does ‘for you,.and Dr. Barry Phillips on risk factors of heart disease, Day one wraps up with chiropractor Dr. Lindsay on growing healthy families, followed by Carol Harri- son, public health nurse, who will talk about meno- pause.
