As November 11, the time of remembering draws near Jet us pause to check within ourselves and make sure that we are carrying the torch and carrying it high with selfless motives. Conflict tend more and more to keep the horrors of war within themselves. A younger group of peacetime veterans . are gradually becoming a voice to be heard within the ranks of the Canadian Legion. This is as it should be, it is not meant that people should dwell in the past. Life marches on an the Legion must march with it— in step with the times — BUT, brash youth in your mere 20’s and 30’s or even 40’s, take heed, STOP and LISTEN to those who were there.
