Briere, property owner of 2838 St. Michael Street, asked for further clarification of the proposed walkway and stated in his opinion he felt people were not aware of the proposed walkway. Discussion then ensued on the walkway. Alderman Keryluk stated he had been talking to one of the Property owners of Lot 206 and that person was aware of the Proposed walkway. Alderman Mabbett stated the Property owners would have to be aware of the proposed walkway as it would have to be fenced on both sides to protect the properties, His Worship Mayor J.M,. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed Zoning By-law No. 1648 would now be considered. By-law No. 1648: (a) to rezone Parcel "c" (Reference Plan 3066), North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District; and (b) Those portions of road shown dedicated on Plan 2533 included within the green outline on a By-law Plan prepared by Allan Glsen, B.C.L.S., and dated January 2nd, 1979, a copy of which said plan is attached to and made part of the "Somerset Street Plan 2533 Road Exchange By-law, 1979, No. 1646"; from RS-2 to RS-l. The property is located at 934 Victoria Drive and it is expected that twenty-five single family residential lots will be created following completion of the rezoning procedures. The City Clerk advised a report from the Public Works Committee, January 17th, 1979 was available on the water supply and in its report the Committee recommended that third reading not be given until further information was available. The City Planner then gave a brief explanation of the proposed subdivision. Mr. D. Pearce, property owner of 1046 Victoria Drive, stated he was concerned about the supply of water to the subdivision as there are low water pressure conditions existing now in the heavy usage months of July and August. Mr. J. Huber, property owner of 812 Victoria Drive, asked for clarification of the traffic pattern for the area and this information was provided.
