Seconded by Councillor Talbot; That whereas there has been created and offered for sale a Serial Killer Board Game Edition’; Whereas the distribution and sale of such a game is not in the public interest, Whereas the Municipality has no authority to prevent the distribution and sale of this game, Whereas federal authorities appear unable at this time to prevent the distribution and sale of this game despite requests to do so; Therefore be it resolved that His Worship Mayor Traboulay request the Provincial Government to use its authority to stop the distribution and sale of this game; and Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be sent to Members of Parliament, Joy Langan and Ian Waddell, and to Mike Farnworth, Member of the Legislative Assembly, and to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. Carried, Councillor Thompson voted against the resolution.
