REAL PROPERTY FOR SALE BY TENDER

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam invites tenders for the purchase
of the undernoted property:

' Lot "A", Block 24, District Lot 289, Group One, Plan LMP2894, New
Westminster District, Port Coquitlan, B.C.;

located at the Northeast corner of Shaughnessy Street and Pitt River Road; and
will consider proposals for its rezoning to an RM~4 or RM-5 zoning designation.

This property is zoned RS-2 (Smail Lot Residential) and has an area of
approximately 0,2215 ha (0.54 acres). It is located at the Northeast corner
of Shaughnessy Street and Pitt River Road.

Tenders must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside
“Tender for Shaughnessy/Pitt Property" and addressed to:

and be in his hands by 12:00 o'clock noon, Thursday, August 20th, 1992. Any
tender received after this time will be returned unopened as will all tenders
inadvertently opened before the closing time as a result of not being
adequately marked on the outside of the sealed envelope as required.

‘Terms of Sale

1. a.) A certified cheque in the amount of $5,000.00 must accompany each
. tender as a deposit and each tender will be cpen for acceptance by the
Council for a period of 30 days. | |

b.) Upon a tender being accepted by the Council a further installment of
~ $50,000.00 must be paid to the City by certified cheque by the
successful tenderer within five days of receipt of notice of
acceptance of the tender or the deposit will be forfeited.

c.) The balance of the offered price must. be paid by the successful _

tenderer within 30 days or as soon thereafter as requested or the
deposit will be forfeited, This t limit may be extended by mutual
