Dominion Triangle Area Control Plan

That Council adopt the "Dominion Triangle Area Control Plan" report ag the
guideline for development of this area of the City.

‘he Dominion Triangle Area Contrel Plan has been prepared to establish a
land-use concept, and servicing and development guidelines for the Dominion
Triangle.

A Public Information Meeting was held on September 26, 1991 to present a
draft Area Control Plan and discuss proposed changes to the Official
Community Plan.

DISCUSSION:

A copy of the final report of the Dominion Triangle Area Control Plan is
attached to this memorandum.

The Area Control Plan complements the Official Community Plan in
establishing additional guidelines for the development of the Dominion
Triangle. It also complements the Northeast Sector Comprehensive Development
Strategy, which establishes the servicing criteria for the northeast sector of
Port Coquitlam, including the Dominion Triangle.

The Plan has been reviewed by staff for consistency with the Northeast
Sector Comprehensive Development Strategy. The final report has also been
revised to incorporate some of the comments received at the Public Information
Meeting.
