Building & Protection Committe Report Cont. /2 > accommodates our needs for everyday parking, but with the elimination of parking on McAllister Avenue, there. is no parking for off duty firefighters when paged for an emergency. If other than fire department parking is allowed, the larger vehicles such as the Hi Ranger and Pumper would not be able to get to the rear of the Hall to the hose tower, which is necessary for Loading and unloading hose. ; The committee recommends that the grassed area adjacent to the Hall be prepared and gravelled to become part of the parking area. The total area be designated for fire hall parking and training area. Further recommendation, that the area in front of the fire hall be designated a fire area, and appropiate signs be installed to pre~ vent stopping and turning in front of the Fire Hall.
