It undoubtedly makes one ofthe

the current discussion.
Stanley Ryerson, editor of
Marxist Quarterly, contributes a
historical survey from 1763-
1968, dating the present crisis
from the British conquest, and
Leslie Morris, national leader of
the Communist Party, writes on
Prime Minister Pearson’s ‘‘bi-
culturalism’’ and the reactionary
device of ‘‘cultural autonomy,’’
removing confusion from an
argument that could entrap many

Above all, labor needs unity of
action in order to satisfy the
immediate needs of the workers,
tied in with a daring perspective
of social change to be pioneered
by the labor movement. We must
say good-bye to policies which
offer no hope for the future.
