October 24, 1988/250 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, October 24, 1988, at 7:30 pom. Acting Mayor Alderman Mayor J.J. Keryluk, Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.C. Farnworth, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and R.H. Talbot in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administratcr BR. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, and Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Talbot: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the minutes of the Special Council Meeting of October 6th, 1988 and the Regular Council Meeting held on October 17th, 1988, be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATION s His Worship Acting Mayor J.J. Keryluk introduced Ms. Lynn Peterson, 867 Prairie Avenue who addressed Council regarding the problems residents on Prairie Avenue are experiencing with dump trucks leaving debris along Prairie Avenue and hog fuel flushed into her driveway. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Farnworth: That the problem of debris from dump trucks and hog referred to the Public Works Committee. Carried. BYLAWS $ Moved by Alderman Farnworth: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That Bylaw No. 2372 be read a third time. Carried. Moved by Alderman Farnworth: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That third reading of Bylaw No. 2394 be deferred for one week. Ca.ried.
