Policy: a) Charges Waived

Non fund-raising, non-profit organizations and
local chapters. Political parties qualify for
general meetings and executive meetings.

This category will essentially cover local
community sponsored programs where there is no
admission charge for such things as award nights,
seminars, lectures, large meetings, established
annual community events or where groups are
putting on.a fund-raising function for a recog-

nized charity.

The annual community events are as follows:

1, May Day; 2, Kinsmen July lst; 3, Triple A
Winter Carnival. There will be a two day limit
for these annual events.

Subsidized Rental Charge

Non-profit and'non fund-raising organizations
will be charged the appropriate rental charge
where there is an admission charge to cover the
operating costs. This category would cover such
activities as dances, banquets, art shows, music

festivals, etc.

c) Community Charge

Local community club programs for fund raising
purposes, i.e. dances, art shows, banquets, etc.

Commercial Rental Charge

Professional entertainers and outside commercial
organizations.

Priority must be given to the Recreation Department
programs in all aspects.
