ITEM NO. 1 Beer Garden = PoCo Buliding Supplies Fastball Tournament

~ Please see attached letter,

The Committee have received a request from the Port
Coquitlam Building Supplies Fastball Club for a beer
garden for their 8th Annual Fastball Tournament to ba
held at MeLean Park August 30th, 31st and September Ist,
1980,

Recommendation

That the Club be permitted to hold their beer garden
in conjunction with the tournament. It should be noted
that we ere still within our limit of "Special Occasion

Licences",

ITEM NO. 2 Imperial Park

The Parks & Recreation Committee, at an earlier date this
year, had a publie meeting with the residents surrounding
this particular park to bec their views on the possible
development of the park. The Committee have now come up
with a final design of this park which ineludes che loca-
tion of one wingle tennis court to be constructed in the
future, The residents in this area have been contacted
in regard to the design of this park and they are in
agrecnent with the design. Couneil has already approved
monies te do some preliminary work in this park this year.

Recommendation

That approval be piven for the design, as presented, of
the park which Includes one fingle cennte court; furcher=
More that montes be puc in tha 198] provisional budget
for the Construcetfon of the tema courts,
